I came across a nice video player that some of you might be interested in trying out.

It's called Flowplayer. There is more info and demos on the Flowplayer website, plus a couple of my own clips that I'm testing at my website here and my other website here

I can suggest a html5 video player that can guarantuee http live streaming playback, cross-platoform without any plugins such as Flash or Silverlight. Take a look at THEOplayer .
For me it is the most comprehensive html5 video player!!

From what I can see it is not free... so I cannot use it in the project.
