Thanks for your beautiful Black Pearl Style for phpBB3!

Perhaps you would help me by getting rid of that tiny little bug that's bothering me, please? That "0" in "0 new messages," near the top of the screen, seems to be falling through the floor...

Perhaps it is a termite???

See here... : Tree of Life © Chronology Forums

[Pssst... I don't know why the above link is dead, but you may find my forums... using your beautiful Black Pearl Style - not excluding said termite near the top of your screen - at this link: http://adamoh.org/Forums]

Thanks!

And may the peace of our Redeemer rest upon each our families and homes,

Hi again Lilly ( i asume ),

I completely overlooked the fact that to view that you need to be registered and logged in

anyway i did some searching and experimenting on my own board (where it did not look as bad as in you pic) and you could try something, however i did not test this fully in all browsers but i gave it a quicky

in the language files common.php find :
Code: [Hide] [Select]
'NO_NEW_PM' => '<strong>0</strong> New Private',

replace with:
Code: [Hide] [Select]
'NO_NEW_PM' => '0 New Private',

and find:
Code: [Hide] [Select]
'NEW_PM' => '<strong>%d</strong> New Private',
'NEW_PMS' => '</strong>%d</strong> New Private',

and replace with:
Code: [Hide] [Select]
'NEW_PM' => '%d New Private',
'NEW_PMS' => '%d New Private',

then fully test it and let me know cause i'm curious too

GoodLuck,
..Joshua203

Bonus Tip:
Veeeeeeery looooooong forum names will sooner or later give you another bug!
Look how wide the forum jumpbox is now (almost full width of the forum, leaving almost no space for the left search box)

Thanks for that Bonus Tip!

That bug of mine is now found and fixed. It looks much better now! - All thanks to you!

I love that kind of feedback!

And thanks again for that perfect fix you provided by your first post above! You already saw my feedback to that one here: http://www.icyphoenix.com/viewtopic.php?p=55377#p55377

Perhaps I did go a bit overboard... My thinking was that if that kind of bug was a bug in one place, surely it would be likewise elsewhere. Yet, as with all assumptions I could surely be wrong while thus making an ass of u and me... Or at least of me...

May the Lord of Hosts bless and keep each of our families and homes!

Well removing strong tags can't really break anything I guess, but some things will look different obviously, it's upto you to make the choice

I've marked this solved for you (you can do that yourself in the future), and you're welcome
