Well, i guess title says it all.
I need the forum.php to be the starting page when you enter the link...
Help please.

Just rename forum.php to index.php in your local folder and upload it to your server.

so that you have two forum folders on your server. 1 named index.php and the other forum.php.

but keep a copy of original index.php for just in case

that should help

put this in your .htaccess:

  1. DirectoryIndex forum.php index.php 
(try to redirect to forum.php, and if forum.php return an 404 error go on index.php ;D)

Hm. that work´s on an online server.

but if you run from Localserver online ( something like WampServer) when it probably does´nt accept ht.access files

Well, i want to keep index.php
but i cant find .htaccess
the only thing i could find is backup.htaccess... but it doesnt have the code you posted above

Well i downloaded again the icyphoenix pack and i uploaded the .htaccess with the additional code you gave me and it works fine
