Question

Did you update to 1.3 in the last dates??

Edit:

Anyway. For what i can see, your problem is due to hundret´s of thumbnail´s it got to generate.

Try cleaning your cache

Yes. I cannot update because I need Catalan translation. That translation is not available.

Why don´t you take the spanisch translation first.

And change to the catalan when it´s avaible

Because we have been working all the time in catalan. It makes no sense to change to any other language. We can wait. But thanks for the proposal. is interesting to hear any new idea.

Images are always full images resized to 800x600.

Try to switch thumbnail´s on

That´s in ACP-Config-IcyPhoenix- Images in posts

That should speed your page up

At the moment not. First give this a try.

IMHO is the fact that it takes so long, because it got to load all the pictures from that forum completly.

Thumbnail´s are a lot of smaller and don´t take as long to load. If somebody want´s to see a picture fullsize he can click on it.

Result is the same, but page load´s a lot of faster

We tried and they didn't like it. In our forum is important to see easily all the images in its real size.

So, do you know any thing else to increase the speed?

And, one question about the new Icy Phoenix version. Do you know if it's faster than the old one?

You really should try 1.3. In my personal case it turned much faster and it almost had no errors (I'm on a free host and I got errors all the time with 27c). You can also play with the configuration in ACP, specially with SQL.

That's it. They want to see images in it real size without clicking on in.

I'm not really sure. I couldn't test speed very well because they said to me that they weren't agree with that solution...

I'm helping to translate to Catalan. When it will be completedly translated we'll migrate

Thanks for your information
