I usually do the maintenance and no problems there- I was deleting a forum - after that the forum went blanco-that is all what happened.... It really sounds like a simple problem but- heck, I tried all the things above and nothing seems to work.. You should be able to upload zipped files and unwrap them at the server using your hosting panel or ftp (whatever you like best), both should be able to unwrap them in the location you put them on the server. The Icy incorporated one has problems on restore with double entrys. so it will probably get stuck.
