Black Styles And Acp Look
-----------------------------------
Hi there,

when you are a black style only user and work or switch a lot to your admin panel, have you ever thought wow my eyes hurt? :mryellow:
why not modify something for yourself to look at for a change ..in stead of for your users benefit :P

well i did and i allready had everything adjusted but some problems made me redo it and make it better while i was at it, i did not make it "black_pearl like" but kept it simple like the original, there could be some errors in it but i dont see any anymore atm.

if you would like to try and see just rename or backup the original files before you replace or overwrite them so you can switch back fast if you don t like it

only a few files where changed: admin.css, gradient2b.gif and the corner- and tab- images, just back these !10 files! up or rename them to be safe in case of doubt or dislike

upload the root.zip to the root directory, extract it (after securing the files that will be replaced/overwritten), and delete the root.zip when done, that's all... simple as that!!!

Enjoyyy, ...Joshua203

Edit: Tested on phpbb 3.05 and 3.06 (thanks The Steffen for your tip to add this  )

don t blame me if it s no good ... i m just an amature

yes Spydie is right :mryellow:

sorry about that but i figured it would work on any 3.x, anyway i'm now on 3.06

btw the bugs i had to iron out had nothing to do with these modifications so it should at least work on 3.05 as well ..but my guess is on all versions 3.x

please let me know if you find anything stupid in there :mryellow:

Hehehe, I am quite sure it will work with 3.x

It should be only a hint for the following users ;-) (maybe in one year)

First of all thank you for sharing your work here, we appreciate a lot your contributions. :mri:

Anyway you could also use ColorizeIt to have a dark ACP style!

I have created a scheme for you:

[url=http://beta.colorizeit.com/index.php?style=phpbb3_tableless.acp&color=|1E34:a|H:6115098:7|h:3h5k|1E35:a|H:6bc2a4d:7|h:3h5k|1E36:a|H:6e67e00:7|h:3h5k|1E37:a|H:694f497:7|h:3h5k|2E04:5|A:1a:8|h:4h5kL:c|m]phpBB 3 ACP Dark Style

You can also customize some other colors from there if you wish.

Enjoy!

P.S.: When a new phpBB 3 version is released you can just redownload from there!
