[PHPBB XS] Nickname Replaced By An Image

Hi.

I know the kind of forum I'm using is quite old, but I need help on this idea.

I think that in my forum there should be an option to let users replace their nickname in their profile by an image, even if the login name is the same, but it's kinda only something on aesthetics. Just that. Like FPSBanana.

Is there a way to do it?

Ok, I'm plain sick of having no solution for this, so I may explain this deeper...

So, imagine you have an account in my forums, you have a login name and a nick display (the nick that displays through the templates in posts, threads and profiles). You use the login name in the Login panel, and go to the User Control Panel, now, there's an option that lets you change your Nick Display from the templates (or from the User ViewProfile include). Easy like that, you upload, link or get an image you want for your nick display and submit and get it.

I hope someone understands this now.

is possible but the total forum code must be changed, so i think noone will do this. Sorry :cry:

Ok, but this is a different thing... you can quickly do it by adding a custom field in ACP.
