Hi, can you please tell me how to replicate that error?
I don't see any syntax error on that file... can you also try to download again the latest package from GIT and tell if the error is still there?
Thanks

Are you going to install it on a local server?
Can you please tell me which version of PHP are you using?

No, is a web hosting service.
And when you run install/install.php I get the error.

Have you done this? Copy convert_utf8_nodbal.php to root and launch it?

Thankyou, works.
But after installation it appears blank. None of the pages are showing anything. Just blank.

Can you try to clean the cache.
Go via ftp to cache folder and subfolders and delete each file except .htaccess and index.html

Re: Icy Phoenix 2.0 Beta 1

Hello there,
I installed a few days ago the 2.0 beta version in order to try that on my server but two days later my account was closed down apparently due to malware/virus (or thats what the server bluehost.com said). I was not told anything else, nor explained where was the faillure but having installed it so recently, and being that the only change I had done on my server I thought that could be the reason, so I uninstalled the ip 2.0 beta and wrote to them, they re-activated my account and I have had no further problems since.
Can you please clarify wether it was due to the installation or just a coincidence?
Best regards and congrats for the work

Thanks for reporting, but I honestly think that it was just a coincidence.
You should insist in asking them the reason for locking your account, how can they just report of malware/virus without specifying anything about that?
