I need some suggestion about the KB Mode which I started developing some months ago... but I've never finished it...
Now I'm working a bit on it, just to try to make it nicer and useful.
I think less than 10 users knows this function... but now it is time to let this spread out...
Try to view these links:
http://www.icyphoenix.com/viewforum.php?f=4&kb=true
http://www.icyphoenix.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3142&kb=true
As you see these are just a forum and a topic with a different tpl to look similar to Knowledge Base.
What does it means? It means that you can alternatively show one section (or topic) in standard mode or in KB mode. When kb=true is appended to the url, then you will see the KB mode, which means a wide template with fewer things and more easy to read for documentations.
At the moment I'm stuck because I don't know how it is better to integrate it... if putting an icon on forum list (like the RSS one ) or adding a clickable link on top of viewforum and viewtopic. At the moment I think that the second option is better.
Anyway... feel free to make some tests on this site (on your Icy Phoenix this feature is not complete!) and suggest me what you would do...
I will read your suggestions to see if there will be some good ones...
Thanks.
