the problem is not bandwith, i have 800gb for month and i spent only 1%
the problem is the overload the server, for the number of sql queries that uses phpBBXS

Are you sure of this?
Did you compare the number of SQL performed by XS with other premodded or standard phpBB?

If you run my script, you'll have XS running with the minimum amount of SQL charge... and remember that most of SQL are cached and in some cases you have pages with less than 15 SQL which is really good for a premodded package like XS.

Anyway is really important that you disable in ACP all the feature you don't use.

SQL queries: 35 -
in yours icyphoenix.com, phpbb-es.com etc...

and there are a lot of people with the same problem, overload cpu

I prefer XS because it have the posibility to turn off some "features" that can consume resources... Just use what you really need. Other thing is that some server (hosting companies) are reaaaaaaally bad

well i have migrated one of my sites to xs58 and deactivate almost all, and load reduces

but i have one strange problem in news

Number of queries depend if you are logged in or not... and if you are admin of course queries are much higher.

Having said that... most of pages have less than 20 SQL for guests.

What you can do for limiting Server charge, is what I suggest in the Docs section... if you want, I can take a look at your configuration and try to be more focused on your site.

Mighty, Nice to be back here in XS. I have been visiting the site for a while lately unlike before coz I had used other scripts on my site. I agreed with casimedicos... from the time I have used XS i got 2 warnings from my host server and warned me that If will not change they will suspende my account (coz I am in a shared hosting only). Although it is very hard for me to change coz I like XS very very much... I have to convert it to something else.

Pls try to consider something "server load control" like other forum softwares have vB, IPB, SMF, I think phpbb3 have it now...

It will control in distributing the load from server especially when you are in shared hosting enviroment. The only thing mind me most is that how XS overloaded the server if it counts only 20-30 sql queries / pageview. I don't know where it was but this my main issue with XS.  

BTW, I have around 300 visitors per day / 20000 pageviews.

phpBB XS is a premodded full of features... this is the price to pay for having many features.

This is a common problem for all the premodded like this one.

The only things you can do is disable all the SQL consuming features in ACP. There is a post in the Docs section which may help you in this.

The more features you have enabled the most server load you'll have.

I'll try to add some other switches, but I think that we cannot go under certain levels...

In any case remember that the best thing you can do on your server is removing viewing permissions for some pages, and allow some forum access only to registered. This is the best way to reduce your SQL charge.

very soon very very soon as soon as phpbb3 released...

Mighty, are you going to use phpbb3 once it became final? coz It have ability to control the server load.  

MG and because nonexempt some mods in future versions? ,

I believe better that serious, is MODs that really is not used, and to have them of adornment and to see as they consuming SQL.

For example, the file of the site, the statistics, HTTP referers. it is not my opinion, and the serious XS something lighter. there is much people whom it will also like sudoku, but many do not use, and I believe it either that normal the serious thing that these “mods” came in pack to part, not including.

not if I explain myself, which they are possible to be installed of the easiest way the user than it wants them, would be less misfortunes with ours hosting.
