By the way, that nifty lil thing moreteavicar did with beryl...well u can do that on windows too..the app is called Yodm3D, just google it, it doesnt run as smoothly as Lunix (Ubuntu right?) but its a good substitute.
Ah yes, I know about that. But then Beryl (running Suse 10.2, not that it matters) came out way before Vista, and MS spent millions on developing that (or should that be porting Beryl to Windows). Beryl can crash, if you have certain Nvidia cards, due to a sloppy coding fault in the drivers supplied by NVIDIA, which doesn't flush graphics memory properly. But thats really a fault of Nvidia, not the open source comminuty. Well, no need for yet another Linux vs MS debate. I'll let the Vista privacy concerns linked above speak for itself.
