Re: About Warning ISP And Their Server Logs...

Uff... I don't think Telefonica will give you that information without some kind of judicial order. You know, all that of the "Ley de Protección de Datos".

Each country has its own rules... if your host is Spanish I think you have to refer to Spanish law, which I don't know.
I'm sorry for that.

But the laws in the country of the ISP will only force that ISP to reveal information, and that information is useless: connection logs. The data you really need is stored in the Telefonica's servers and they will not let you see it.

hal9000, you need both, server logs and data in the ISP, but you cannot get access to it, only police can and they have to investigate, by your own you only can give the more information as possible to the police, and wait.

Yes, you need both of course. What I mean is that get the hosting connection logs is useless, as the personal information necessary is in the ISP's servers.

I have no idea how serious it is what you are talking about, but Interpol would be about the only avenue if it involves laws in different countries. I'm also not sure if you can contact them directly.
Can you elaborate more on what this person has actually done or is doing?
You say he's insulting the Staff - That's hardly a reason for the Police to concern themselves about?
