CBACK is for security paranoids. The best way to test for exploits, bugs and so on is disabling it, as it blocks many pieces of code from being executed.

The order for me and reason:

1. Icyphoenix -
1. phpBB 3 -
2. phpBB 2 -
3. SMF -
4. MyBB -
5. CBACK - Not tested
6. vBulletin - Not tested
7. IPB - Not tested

I have not tested all of them, and I analized the core source from less of them, but that is the ranking.

I pointed Icy and Phpbb both at the first rank, that is not a error. But IMHO phpbb 3 has a improved security but confusing moderator and administration pannels.

I think the term pre-modded phpBB* is very misleading because everyone knows that a lot of mods for phpBB2 were open to exploits.

Re-Built and Re-Coded phpBB* with an emphasis on Security - Would describe Icy Phoenix much better.

Icy Phoenix cannot compete at the same level of phpBB or vB or IPB.

Icy Phoenix is an amatorial project, and there are too many features to be sure that it is as secure as a "just plain vanilla" forum platform.

I won't create a ranking, but phpBB 3 is coded really good from a programmer point of view. That should ensure an higher level of security.
