I think this should be on PhpBB3. PhpBB3 is more stable.

Never had a problem with Icy Phoenix on phpBB2.  Moving to English Chit-Chat.

I guess you could say a vanilla copy of phpBB3 has a few features Icy Phoenix doesn't have.  You could also say Icy Phoenix has a ton of more features than a vanilla copy of phpBB3.

It's all about your personal preference.  Try them both and see which you like the best!
