Yeah, I found a fix on the 4th of July, and submitted it the 12th.
It's been in MG's hand since then, but he's been busy since then.

It has been done! Since yesterday (or the day before), the code has landed on Github.
If you're OK with using a version from Github, then it should be fixed for you.
Otherwise MG will probably release a patch.

Sorry, you're right!
Thankfully, that bug can be fixed by replacing a single file, without replacing everything (though when a new version comes out, you should definitely do that).
You can download the GIT version here. This will give you a .zip file.
You need to replace your includes/bbcode.php file that you currently have with the one you just downloaded.

I was ready to change this file, but I have a problem.
There are many files in this .zip file, but there is not an includes/bbcode.php file
I mean, I understand that I need to replace the file with other the same name, right? Or not?

I've understood finally!! This file is in the includes folder, and its name is bbcode.php right? This is the file that I have to replace... I hope do it well 
I did something wrong, because my forum doesn't open after I've replaced the bbcode.php file 
ha ha ha Oh, my God, I am a mess!!
I've connected to my hosting, and someone change the php version to a newer or something like that
