In FAP for phpBB no...

Not directly, but you can do it using a trick...

• Post an image representing the video in the album.
  
• Insert a comment using the GOOGLE or YOUTUBE bbcode to post the video.

Go to the bottom of the picture!

I have phpbb 2.0.22 and FAP 1.4.1

can i embed youtube videos using bbcode or just use a picture of the video as a link like you show here?

If I cant with what i have can I if i install Icy Pheonix ? can I upgrade my phpbb without loosing anything from my phpbb?

FAP has its own BBCode for comment... so you can add YouTube videos in comments.

Icy Phoenix has the same BBCodes all over the pack... but you will have the same identical FAP.

If you just need Video BBCode in the Album then there is no need to upgrade to Icy Phoenix (in any case if you upgrade to Icy Phoenix properly you won't lose anything).
