Hey all,

My server does not contain a lot of webspace, and I would like to add many pictures...
Is there a way to the FAP (Full Album Pack) accepts external sources (so a URL for example) and still displays it in the (personal) Album?

Or does anybody know a mod/ addon for the FAP or normal album?

Unfortunately that is not easy with FAP, because FAP stores thumbnails on local server.

You will need to edit the way Images are processed, and it requires a bit of confidence with PHP.

You will need to edit the upload box to allow users to link images and you will need to edit DB tables where images are stored so you can store external URL.

You will finally need to process internal and external images separately, avoiding thumbnails generation for external ones.

Alternatively you should buy some extra spaces on other hosting services... there are many that offers unlimited space at low price.
