1 Bug In Topic Mark Read.
Hi All:
When you click on this Link: http://www.phpBBXS.eu/search.php?search_id=newposts (Newest Posts from your last visit) there's the possibility to see the posts not read and to select those to mark like already read.
Well: If u check 1, 2, etc. posts and click on button "Mark Read", the page redirect to Search: http://www.phpBBXS.eu/search.php
I think the bug is around line #55, a this part code:
<td class="catBottom" colspan="8">
<input type="submit" class="mainoption" value="{L_SUBMIT_MARK_READ}" />
<input name="mar" type="hidden" value="1" />
</td>
cYa All.

In XS 0.58 i see only Aphrodite Template, and it's selected on my Board.
Also on this board the bug is already present.

Re: 1 Bug In Topic Mark Read.
I just tried it here. I started at this page: http://www.phpBBXS.eu/search.php?search_id=newposts
Then I makred a topic and clicked "Mark as read", the topic was marked read and I was redirected to the same page where I started.
Someone else reported that problem a while ago and I couldn't replicate it back then nor now. And if I can't replicate the error, I can't search for the cause.
It's very unlikely, that it is a browser related problem.

Re: 1 Bug In Topic Mark Read.
I verify this!
its because:
if the forum standard is set to cookie system, an the users click on "new" in the header, the "AGM" checkboxes and the button in the catBottam "mark as read" is there, but this shouldn´t be there, by the cookie system.
maybe MG have an fix for this.
yesterday i spoke with Tom about this and we think about an switch in the template file.

In fact... what I'm wondering is what these users have set in their UCP...
Gomesh, can you please tell me how you have set your UPI2DB preference? COOKIE or DB?

as i verified this, here at xs.eu the standard was cookie system. So i think by the users who have this problem, the use the cookie system too. I changed to UPI2DB system and all works fine.
i figured that out because at MG.com, users cant select between cookie and UPI2DB system.

Yes, because I've disabled that feature in my site.

Yes, because I've disabled that feature in my site.
so we need to add an switch to the search.tpl file. because it confuses the users, if the "AGM / MAR" checkboxes are there.
