Thanks Zuker... I've fixed this too... anyway you can remove news_index.php and news_cats.php, because these features are integrated in the portal.

I cannot post the solution at the moment, because I've not applied it to phpBB XS, but to my new project, which is quite different.

I'll try to create a patch when I have some free time.

The problem is linked to attachments in news.

It is because you don't have attachments on your portal... try to attach a file to a news and then check the RSS... then let me know...

For me there is no hurry because i don't use attach on my portal
