Thanks for the quick reply. I don't see a thumb folder, but I do know I've set all the permissions to 777 for all the folders specified in the install document.

Re: Problems Using OTF To Gallery!

I've split and moved this to the place OTF was released (together with 2 other old OTF threads) because that's where I think it's suposed to be (split because the problem is not related to the thread where it was posted in originally and moved because it has nothing to do with FAP)

Your thumbs should be found in album/cache, for starters please double check the 777 settings for all folders there.
It may be a good idea to post a link to the problem page instead of just a screenshot

I have double checked. They are all 777, Here's a link:

Re: OTF thumbs not showing

hmmm... strange ..I can view them directly in the folders and even the links to them (both bbcode and pic url) look just fine, it looks like otf_pic.php has no access or something like that.
I guess you double checked all files but just in case you only checked what I mentioned before...
All of these need to be 777:
CHMOD 777 album/
CHMOD 777 album/cache/
CHMOD 777 album/cache/l/
CHMOD 777 album/cache/m/
CHMOD 777 album/cache/s/
CHMOD 777 album/cache/w/
CHMOD 777 album/otf/
CHMOD 777 album/otf/users_pics/
CHMOD 777 album/xml/

Ok, thank you, I guess I'll have to try again. I'll let you know if it worked. Oh yes, and should I CHMOD all the files within the folders too?
EDIT: It didn't work, both with the files and the folders CHMODed, and with only the folders CHMODed. Also, when I view the photos on my side, I can't even see the full originals.

Re: OTF thumbs not showing

It's all there and viewable directly:
http://new-world-server.netau.net/a..._2_problems.png (full original)
http://new-world-server.netau.net/a..._2_problems.png (thumbnail)
http://new-world-server.netau.net/a..._problems_s.png (small thumb for the slideshow)
The weird thing is that if a file is trying to show them (no matter if its otf_pic.php or the slideshow flash file) it does not show (which is why I still think it has something to do with permissions).
Even when I compare the generated links of the pics to the ones in my own gallery ...they look exactly the same (feel free to compare)
I'm hoping someone else will come up with a suggestion because I'm at my wits end here to be honest (but don't give up ..this shoud not be this hard)
little tip: you should really create error pages, right now your host catches any miss-typed url with an advertisement

I think is something related to your GD Libraries.
Are phpBB attachments working fine in your forum?

If you CHMOD the thumbs folder to 755 it will work fine.

Sorry about that Josh, I didn't see your post, and I'll create error pages later, for now, since it's so new, I wanna try and finish the main functions first. Like the album

Please note that what you quoted had nothing to do with you ...maybe I should have just deleted the interference.
What's important to you is Mighty Gorgon's reply to your problem..

Oh, Ok, oops. Anyway, IDK... like, what attachments are we talking about? Profile Pictures? I've never really tried attaching anything to a post.
