Subject: Problem!... The User Name Doesn't Change At All
Well... here's another question for a problem.

I have been trying to change my user name. I enter to the ACP and check the option that allow to change it. Then enter in the ACP to the Users Administration and I change the user name. Good.

The username change to a system level, I have to enter to web with my new username but the username that stay in the user view in the posts, private message, and all around the web is the old one. The new one doesn't appear in nowhere.

The web is practically new. Here's the URL: http://theforo.netfast.org/index

I don't now if this is a database problem.

That's All.

Clear your site's cache from the ACP.

Good... I clear the cache but It's still the same old one. I'm refer to the style cache.

And I change the name 2 days ago and more and it's still the same.

Thanks for your answer.

I changed it to another one and clear the cache like you said, but it's still the same. I'll gonna wait a day or two for it to change, if that doesn't happen I'll post a new message here.

Thanks for the help.

I Don't know what part....

Here are the steps:

1. ACP -> Configuration -> Forum
2. There I activate the option that allows the username change.
3. ACP -> Users -> Administration
4. There I change my username and save it.
5. ACP -> Styles -> Cache Admin -> Clear the Cache for All

Then I go to the portal and forum, but the name it's still the same old.

Thanks Zuker for the help... again.

Bye

after changing it, if you try to administrate searching the old nickname, that nickname it's found?

Nop... there's no another user with the old name.

Error General.
User does not exist.

That says the ACP.

Bye.

if u have beckup you can restore this user in database

find in your beckup this , and serach this...
delete all users from your before beckuped databse exept that who is missing (that one who u dont see in ACP)
users start in -VALUES (3, 1, 'YOURUSER'......- ...read it... in spoiler ...
and change prefix to your database prefix
INSERT INTO `your prefix_users`......
if his "id" is used by another user this dont work, but as i understand your user is deleted, write?

so you need only this .... separated from your before beckuped databse
Spoiler: [ Show ]

Dont do this if u are not sure on it !!!!!
It is only suggestion !!!

Could it be browser cache? It seems you're using firefox - perhaps clear private data under privacy tab? Maybe try Internet explorer to see if fault duplicates in there...
