I have followed this thread on how to reduce sql charge on server but with an average of 20 users in less than a hour I get the error from my hosting that I have reached 30.000 queries. Is it possible or I did a mistake on the configuration of the board or of the MySQL db?
I remember that with the only phpBB I have never got this error.

30000 queries it's a very big number...

I think you have many guests browsing your site. With standard phpBB you have of course a lower charge... I think about 10/20 queries less per page on average... but it is the price to pay to have a premodded.
