Hello,

I am currently setting up a forum at work for people to share infomation with each other.

One feature that i've been requested use is having RSS news feeds of the local weather, travel news and sports news scrolling accross the top.

At work we are behind a proxy which requests a username and password to access the internet at the outside work. Thus meaning we are not able to contact the external news feeds. So my question is.

How do I enable proxy authentication on php level so we can get news feeds?
