You can, and it's not hard :]

You will do:
phpBB3 to SMF [Doc Link]
SMF to phpBB2 [Doc Link]
phpBB2 to IP [Read here]

Please remember that you will lose:

• Permissions
  
• Redirection Boards
  
• Avatars
  
• Profile Fields
  
• Basic Settings (Convert some of the basic forum settings. (site name, max post length, etc)
  
• Smileys

Can someone confirm this works?  If it does, we'll move it to the DOC forum!

I've try, and a member of a phpBB support forum have try ... (Please remember that you could have little bug ... But no big bug ...)

EDIT: you could get bug like "é "become" ?" ... and in the installation procedure for downgrade to phpBB you could have an error ... in the file [.../.../.../.../../]attachement[..].php .... Just tell me =]

I think until we know the process runs smoothly, everyone should use extreme caution when trying to move from phpBB3 to Icy Phoenix with these instructions.

Follow the above procedures at your own risk!

And don't forget to Do 2backup of database and 1 of file !!
