How many times I MUST say to you that I cannot find this problem on your site?
Please relax yourself, take a deep breath and try to explain step by step what you do, using screenshoot too, so we can understand better what you mean.

Re: Pictures (as Attachment) Upload Problem
He is trying his hardest to get us to understand him. I saw pretty clearly what he is having a problem with in his pictures. The problem isn't with attachments as he clearly stated...the problem is in the Upload Image feature under the smileys. I created a user account on his website and I see the problem he is having.
Just follow the example in the picture Juve posted and you'll see the issue.
I tried opening a picture in Photoshop and saving it as all of the "allowed" filetypes, even lowercase extensions, and it still gave me this message:
Only these file types may be uploaded: jpg, gif, png.
I remember reading something about this somewhere on this site. I'll try to look around and see what I can come up with.
Hang in there Juve.

Finally I understand what he means... It's my fault...
I've looked in his ACP but all seems to be correct there and I don't get this error on all my 1.2.24.51 installations
I'll make some others tests.

Re: [SOLVED] Pictures (as Attachment) Upload Problem
I've got the same error, but it disappear when I've got full permissions to "posted_images" (and its subdirectory), so I'm quite sure that this is a server config issue, for me it's the "apache" user that upload the pic and the 755 permissions does't permit to create new files to other users than your FTP user.

Re: [SOLVED] Pictures (as Attachment) Upload Problem
I think it's a CMOD permission problems.
I say this, because I recently move my forum from one server to other, and NOW all users that were created before the forum was move can't post images. Always have same answer: Only PNG, JPG and GIF extensions are allowed.
Ok, you create a new user, and this user can upload perfectly any image.
If you go to the FTP and check CMOD permissions on new user, are not show, but on users that were created before uploading to new server, has CMOD = 755.
I've managed to change to 777 or whatever, and no success...

With 755 permissions you should be able to upload pictures if you have the PHP Safe Mode setting on "OFF", otherwise, if it's ON, you have to configure it in you "php.ini" to allow the users to upload pictures with IP's Post Images builtin features.
