I have about 100 photos to upload to the Album. Is there a way to do this in a mass upload to the server instead of individually uploading them through the admin.php?
Thanks,
Dave

*hm*
All I can say yet is that you have a a folder with all your pictures in {root}/files/album/users/{your_user_ID}
Now I can't tell how to use this information for mass upload pictures and I don't have the time to make further more researches sorry ... ><"

The way to upload your 100 pictures is this?
Create a folder with pictures inside
Upload folder in your web space under the directory files / album / otf
Just finished entering the files in your space go to the following address
http://www.yoursite.ext/album_otf.php
Below select the folder and then click on Insert

Hi all,
I just uploaded a bunch of folders to the directory files / album / otf and then went to ./album_otf.php...
I created categories which are the same as the folder names containing the photo's.. At the top of the page I select a folder of photo's, and then when I want to place them in a folder I select at the bottom of the page i get the following error message:
[Icy Phoenix Debug] PHP Notice: in file /album_otf.php on line 380: rename(files/album/otf/2006-09-09/image1.jpg,files/album/users/2/image1.jpg) [function.rename]: Permission denied
( I get it for al the photo's but I didn't think it is neceserry to post a complete list, since they are all the same.
A message underneath that says the images were uploaded succesfully, but no, it's not :(

Subject: Re: [SOLVED] Mass Photo Upload
I'm 99% sure that it is related to a permission issue.
Make sure your files/album/users/ has CHMOD 0777 or 0755

Still that 1% ;) Tried both, and doesn't make a difference...

The script isn't allowed to move files from otf folders to album folder.
The error states that PHP has no permissions to move those files.
Did you ask your host to check PHP permissions?
Otherwise we need to look for a workaround trying to re-set the owner of the uploaded files.
