CMS Dynamic Menu

Any changes I make to the dymanic menu in CMS/Dynamic menu do not appear in the home page?

It is a fresh installation 1.3.0.53a.

I have moved links up and added new links to the dynamic menu (Home » CMS » Dynamic Menu), clicked update menu and all appears fine in the CMS. However, when I go back to the home page, there are no changes to the menu?
