Subject: Hacking Attemp When Trying To Open Install/install.php
Hello,

I want to upgrade my old Icy to the newest version. I strictly went throuth the documentation describted in this post http://www.icyphoenix.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6117.

When I now want to open /install/install.php I'm redirected to http://www.bauwagencrew.net/bwporta...all/install.php and get the Page "Hacking Attemp!"

Please help.

René

EDIT: I reinstalled the update. In this case delete all files AND FOLDERS (also the album) before uploading the update files. Now when I call install.php I get a firefox error:
See http://www.bauwagencrew.net/bwportal_test/install/install.php

Thanks, now we are at the next problem as you can see on my install.php link from above.

The Script cannot find a Ctracker Script on Line 156 of the common.php

include(IP_ROOT_PATH . 'ctracker/engines/ct_security.' . PHP_EXT);

There is no ctracker folder under the root path, this folder is only in the install folder. According to the update documentation i had to delete the ctracker folder from the Root Path.

Outsch.

since you´ve deleted all files and folders, the only thing you can do is , download the complete IcyPhoenix 1.3.0.53a package and upload all files and folders. ( do not delet or reupload o overwrite) config.php, don´t touch this file.

Config.php was not overwritten, this file was saved before. What I don't understand: In the documentation it says delete all files but config.php. Should I only delete all FILES, so that the DIRECTORIES like ctracker, files, a.s.o. stay on the webserver? This was the way I try it at first and get the Hacking Attemp error.

Thats what I know, i try to repead my question.

In the Docu it says:
Quote:

11.
Remove the following folders (make sure you don't have in those folders some files you may need for some mods you have installed, but in any case you should have a backup Backup Rules!):

* adm
* includes
* language
* templates

12.
Remove all files but config.php in your Icy Phoenix root (make sure you don't have some files you may need for some mods you have installed, but in any case you should have a backup Backup Rules!).

Must I only delete Files from the Root Path + the Folders adm, includes, language, template, or must I also delete the other directories under the root path?

Try to decomment this line in install.php:

Code: [Download] [Hide] [Select]
//define('BYPASS_SESSION', true);

By decommenting I mean removing the 2 slashes in front of the line, so the line should look as:

Code: [Download] [Hide] [Select]
define('BYPASS_SESSION', true);

If you can update correctly, make then sure you remove the install folder completely after the process...

Many thanks, this was working. I was able to Run the update and some other steps, ie. move album pics...

Now I renamed the install folder to test the forum, but when I access http://www.bauwagencrew.net/bwportal_alt/ I get another "Hacking Attemp".

Regards
Rene

Make sure you have fixed config.php with the new constant. I think you have not followed exactly updates instructions.

Can you please post here your config.php (without username and password of course)?
