I download Icy beta 1055 and wanted to try on local server with Xampp 1.5.4, but when I launch [b]localhost/install/install.php[b] I get a 500 error code:

Code: [Download] [Hide]
  1. Errore del server!
  5.
  6. Error 500

It's not a problem of Windows... I use WM Server Tools on my Windows XP SP2 and it works fine... when I try loading the same site on XAMPP I get this error... so it is something related XAMPP Apache configuration. I didn't have the time to check what the error is related to...

So try to use WM Server Tools, or try to guess why XAMPP doesn't like this HTACCESS by deleting one by one each line, or just delete the HTACCESS if you don't have the skill/time/patience to understand why.

Yes, you are right. I used to work with WM Server and never had that problem, but I tried Xampp for the first time with Icy beta, so I figured out there was a problem with Icy.
Now that I know that Icy works and this is only a matter of Xampp configuration, I'll make my day!

I'll search the web to some explanation about Xampp and htaccess!

Thank you!

It should be related to Apache, not to Windows...
