Possible Bug:

I need confirmation on this on.

Just updatet a Site from version .53b to 2.0.0.86.

all went fine after some struggling with blanc page due to cookie settings.

Now we have this problem.

 quick_reply

 reply

The smiles are correctly displayed in the Post´s, smile path is correctly setup But you only see this in posting

any ideas ?

Could it be, that this is related to forum sitting in an subfolder of the domain ??

means example:  www.mysite.com/foro/

I'd rather say it's a local issue because I also updated my forum and had no problem for it. So...
Possible solutions:
1) Clear cache (and Theme Cache) obviously
2) CTRL+F5 // try with another browser to check if it's your cache browser (but I doubt it is)
3) Delete the {root}/images folder and reupload it.

When you do "Right Click + display the picture" on a picture, does it works ? Is it the right path ? I think it isn't, or it means that it's a cache matter only. By the way, I can ensure you it isn't a bug from the actual version of IP because I had not such kind of problem when I updated my own forum & template.

something is wrong there, but it is´nt a browser cache problem. neither a cache prob, since i cleared both, main and style cache

funny thing is, that the demo cat smiles are correctly displayed.

funny thing is, it happens on the webserver, and on my local inviorment.

Paths are correct, because the smiles are correctly displayed inside a post, and they would´nt if the pàth´s are incorrect. it´s only that they do´nt show up in the smiley box.

i´m quiet shure, it has something to do with create_server_url in smiley.php

Have you modified the posting_body.tpl and/or the quick reply tpl ? If so, have you tried to compare your modified files with defaults ones ? Because MG made some changes around the smilies and maybe your smilies variables are deprecated because they weren't updated (because you kept your custom theme).

A silly point,

Why don't you right-click the smiles and see what the path is for the ones that are missing.

found the error.

looks like, since the forum is in an subfolder, the create_server_url generates an path like this http://localhostforo/images/smiles/spidy.gif with an missing slash between localhost and foro

edit:

config error:

server name : localhost/
script path : foro/

changed it and it works
