Post ICY 2.0 Upgrade Question 
 
Guys

I have a website where by the forum is regularly used as with the gallery, i will be installing ICY 2.0 in a new folder and configuring the website , template , custom pages etc which you can appreciate will take time, how can i then import my 1.53 database into this ?

I would not that this way, because there are many changes from IP 1.3 to IP 2.0

I would make a backup from the hole site. DB and ftp
Install xampp local and would install the backup there.

After my backup will run local (IP 1.3) I would update it local to IP 2.0
So you can play with it and can do all your changes and tests.

If you finished it, you can do the update online (backup before of course)
You can overwrite your changed files or winmerge it.
And if you did db changes, you can also find it using winmerge for your tables.sql
