OK here goes .I want to know how to make an image stop repeating. Do I change that in the css and if so which css file(location) and if not the css is it in the admin section somewhere cause i am obviously I am missing it. Ugh I want a forum but have know idea how to make it pretty cause i can't figure out how the images and the code work together.If anyway know where i can get tutorials on this stuff I will go away and stop bugging poeple with all these dumb newb questions I promise .LOL :oops:

You find it in the css of you template. I don't know what image you are talking about :mricy: but in css you can make an image stop repeating with the css attribute "no-repeat"


For example, a background image for your page:





you also have repeat-x and repeat-y to force it repeating only orizontally or vertically ;)


I order to work to an Icy template, you have a clear example in templates/mg_themes/style_icy.css :





Just change repeat-x with no-repeat and your image will not repeat anymore (watch out for "top left" that are the alignmente of the image)



(Just to be sure: the code I provided is meant to be an example. You don't have to modify that... I don't know what image you are talking about )

Sorry if I dare, but don't you think it could be good to first have a look to the basics of css? Not deeply, just to have a general look and idea of what you're going to...

I suggest you to study them a bit; it not difficult at all, just a few days and you will feel a lot more comfortable in working at templates... I swear! :mrviolet:

Another brillant site to study .css is Zen Garden.

It´s a website completely made up with .css and html. You can change the design and download the files of the styles you´re seeing, so that you can see how they´re doing it. I post this site here because I´m not sure if this site should go in the tuto topic. :wink:
