Hello,
I have a problem that is starting to get annoying. I created a style that looked fine in ff but not in ie. Now I changed it and I have a problem with both browsers. I have a container with a fixed with of 960px. Every page looks fine except the viewtopic files. I dont know why the page is wider there and the container has overflow:hidden; so half of the content is lost. Does anyone know why this could be happening? If you want to check it the url is this one.
thanks
ps: the style isn't finished yet, it may look awful

I doubt the posted link will fix your problem. :(
Try this:
ACP > Styles & Templates > Settings >
"Add tpl filenames in html
This feature adds comments to html code that allow style designers to detect which tpl file is displayed."
Turn this Off (No)

Well, I know the problem is with the main table but it doesn't change it's size if I change the width to 80% or a fixed width. I tried your solution Lopalong but it didn't work...
I can gice the container the propertie of overflow:scroll so the user can see the parts that are missing but it's not very nice. Do you have other ideas?
Thank you

I am still trying to work out how you have managed to get them all into a mess ?

It would be better if you tried to create a new theme from a clone, rather than what appears to be a modification to the default mg_themes template files.
It would also be better to use a new vanilla theme, rather than try to fix one that is full of ad-scripts, bg-changer or anything else that is not a default part of the theme. Then it should be easier to fix the problems. ;)

Well, that is true, the code is a mess. I just used the default themes because I can change things for every template by editing only one file. Maybe I'll do what you say and make it into a separate folder without the ads ant that stuff....
Edit:
WEIRD! I managed to solve the problem....at least part of it. Guess what was causing it. The font family! Just changed that and looks fine on ff and ie.....now I just have to fix that problem in the page for posting new pms....
