Hi again, guys:

I'm trying to customize an IP forum, but still there some things I can't do, and one of them is to set several zones avoiding the dividing lines. I guess it will be better to post some pics:



On the left one, it shows what I want to arrange and on the right one it shows the result of using "table" in order to create that vertical area, it's just a dividing line. So, are there any way or trick to avoid it? I read somewhere around here that maybe using the DIV command and working with a CSS file perhaps it could be done, so I'd thank you very much if anyone could confirm this data or give some other info or link about this Topic.

so if you just want to remove that border its simple

 

find in style_ice.css


and put borders something like this


but if you want to remove that "lined separator" that is a bit complicate because that are two different class and you will need edit viewtopic_body.tpl


you can incrase "post details" row if you need space for example

but even now i m not realy sure what are you trying to do ...
