Post Resize Images In Posts

Yes me again,

If I select "Resize images in posts" it seems to reslove a lot of my width issues however I have 2 problems with it:-

1, it makes my site sooooooo slow when opening posts and general navigation.

2, it resizes images I link from other sites however it doesnt resize images that are on my site.

As far as I know, the images should be caching and making it load faster the next time you view the image.

There are a ton of different settings in the ACP to help with this.

If you don't mind, could you please take a screenshot of each of these menus and post them here?

- ACP -> Configuration -> Icy Phoenix -> Images In Posts
- ACP -> Configuration -> Limit Image Width
- ACP -> Photo Album -> Configuration -> Thumbnail Settings (If album pictures are giving you trouble too)

Thanks

The first image shows my problem, I have posted 2 images, both images are 800pixels wide, the first image has not re-sized and the second image has re-sized to 600px (as settings in ACP)

the only difference between the images is the first is on my site and the other is on Photobucket, both images are posted using the [I M G] tags, should I be using the album tag for images on my site ????

y see your problem

you´ve got to set resize thumbnails
in preferences images in pòst
set everything under GD to yes

and you should use BBcode to post images.

Right, I made the changes but as the below images shows, the one that is hosted on my site doesnt work, yet the one hosted on Photobucket is resized to the correct width that is stated in ACP
