This is one way of doing it - I would think!

To add the "Main" Calendar to the Index (Home) page - Just follow the instructions here.

The first script is the location in the picture. And you only need to select ONE of these scripts - NOT both of them. (And they are different).

Spoiler: [ Show ]

If you want it somewhere else on the index page, then you will have to "Play" with the markup.

Very useful information, Lopalong.

We use the crap out of the Calendar on my website by adding weekly events.  This will definitely be used!

I noticed member birthdays did not show up on this Calendar row though.  I'll move this to the DOC forum as well because this is going to prove very useful to many.

Thanks again!

It uses the same template as the main calendar, however the "birthday" VARS are probably not global, and may have to be re-declared in the theme.cfg ?

Someone else can check that - because I don't have a populated site to work with.

Anyway! it only came about because poor 'Newt" has been waiting 13 days just for someone to talk to him about his CMS question - And I didn't want to waste a post.

Hey thanks Lopalong for looking into this.  I am ready to get it going, and have been trying to implement it this morning but have run into problems.  For the first script, I could not find any file called "breadcrumbs_main.tpl".  There are "breadcrumbs.tpl" "breadcrumbs_a.tpl" "breadcrumbs_d.tpl" and breadcrumbs_i.tpl".  And none of them have "</div>{IMG_TBR}"

In the second script, I could not find "<!-- IF GB_BLOCK -->" in "overall_header.tpl".

I am not sure what I am doing wrong but any help would be appreciated.

My line 88 in overall_header.tpl says,

"<td style="background-color:#{ctracker_message.ROW_COLOR};"><div class="gensmall">{ctracker_message.L_MESSAGE_TEXT}</div></td>"

second question: what style ( theme ) are you using

3rd question : can you zip your overall_header.tpl and post it here pls

You know that current version of ip is 1.3.0.53, yes

support for .27 will be very limited from beginning of next month.

I recomend you to update to version 1.3.0.53 .

be aware of what we´ve been telling you was in base of new IP version.

That´s why you can´t find the line´s we´ve been telling you.

anyway, i´ll have a look at your overall_header tpl. But my problem now is that i did´nt keep a copy off .27 after my update to 1.3

Edit:
To prevent from thing´s getting mixed up
would you please post from now on everything related to this in your previous Topic
Calendar Question since i don´t see any sense in  posting in Doc´s section a discusion on this, because this is a suport question and IMHO it belong´s to suport and not to Doc´s

Thx Lopa.

I had to ask him what version he´s using, since in overall_header on line 88 you´ve got that GB

Thanks spydie, I've updated the old thread with what SHOULD work for IP1*27 - Providing they don't have elaborately modified themes etc!

And they wonder why we go NUTS! and lose it sometimes?

Maybe I'm getting too old for this - Or less compromising - One or the other!
