What font family or CSS settings are good for a font I want to see at 8px? I'm trying to use 8px font on a website, but when I use Arial font-style the font turns to a grey. I need a different font-family or other CSS font attributes to change to make it legible.

8px is quite small... but I can't see why it turns to gray.
Try using Verdana, even if that font is wider than Arial.
Do you have a link to check?

I downloaded some a while ago but I do not remember where from... there is only 5 images but from size 16 px to 256px...
anyway I have uploaded them to my dloads section if you want them..
