can I of phpbb plus to Icy Phoenix transfer?
Please does not write me German, I can not perfeckt english. :cry:

Firtst downgrading to phpBB, after upgrade to Icy Phoenix.

I do a little and fast test: I try to upgrade from plus 1.53a to Icy Phoenix 1.0.11.11, without downgrade:





I move the directories of upload files via ftp and:...

• Album mod work so fine! :mricy:
  
• attachments mod work so fine! :mricy:
  
• news in home page works so fine! :mricy:
  
• smileys and post formatted works so fine! :mricy:
  
• page permission works so fine! :mricy:
  
• signature work so fine! :mricy:

BUT:

- KB doens't work...(there is a problem in table of permission...) :( :(

but my test is very fast, I suggest to test it in a clone-forum of your phpBB plus!!! (and report here your experience... :wink: )

I have an update on Icy Phoenix made everything run without problem, the problem am that the sides on build am too slow.Another problem is the contributions is not indicated

Where stand mods with icy_phoenix are instaled?,Mod lists.

Taken of what hpl has said,
You just do what hpl has done.

Upload the phpBB to Icy phoenix script to your phpBB+ plus root.

Then run it, press phpBB to Icy phoenix.

If there's errors, forget about it, phpBB+ might already have it installed.

Once done, do not delete your phpBB plus dictionary, download the newest Icy phoenix,
Do not upload "config.php" from the package as you already have one.

Go to your new admin panel, go to forums, forums management, then resynchronize all of them in your ADVANCED forum management.

=If you want to make your forum faster, go to admin panel, and set MG recommended or fast and furious (doesn't have lots of features)..
