Icy Phoenix

Hello,

I like very much Icyphoenix, but the templates of icyphoenix is hard to charge in internet explorer due to a lot of images.... The templates of phpbb3 is very soft to charge.

Anyone is thinking in make a template based on phpbb3 for icyphoenix? It will be very usefull.

I try to do a soft template, but is very dificult for me, because i am not a designer.

Is there any other template for Icyphoenis more soft?

Try this - Using Search and Replace. ;)

Open the style_*.css that you are using.

Find: .gif

Replace ALL with: XXXX

Now find: .roundedhc and .roundedfc and change the XXXX back to .gif

From there you can examine all of the XXXX and decide if you want to put them back (One at a time) or simply remove the url('s and change or add #color to the strings.

To add or change the category colours find (in the modded .css): bg_thXXXXX

Change the "#color" in the strings to compliment the headers. And I'm looking forward to see what results you come up with. :P

I do it. Go to http://www.portalpez.com/foroportalpez/index.php and select in style box the theme mg_soft.

Say me if run more fast than the normal style... thanks you for your help.

Nice fix, it's certainly quicker than the normal Icy Theme. ;)

It is a litle ugly the theme to compare whith a normal them...but i am not a designer. :roll:

Blues are always difficult to work with because the other colours either have to blend in, or be in total contrast with the main colour. ;)

If you need to know what colours are what and what to change them to by example - then download and install this, as it's a very useful tool. :)

Now you will be able to pick the colours from any website that you would like to change your theme to, or from any pictures etc, once you learn how to use it. ;)

For example:

Your main theme colours are:

7D7BFF, 7CBFFF and E1EEFC

So if i wanted to use your colours - I've already got them :P :mrgreen: :mrblue: :shock:

Ok, even though my theme is far to look like phpbb3 theme, It is good now I suposse and I thinks i will not change anything else.
