Good, I have seen several phpBB-based forums (phpbb3 guess) the usefulness Facebook Connect, which allows you to identify yourself on the forum with your facebook account. Now there is something to wonder Icy?

I am also using Facebook to spread my news.
If only I knew how to make this mod working with IP, then I would do it myself! :)

I had a look at the code, but it isn't quick to adapt that, because the mod is quite large.
When I have some free time I will have a try and let you know.

I´m still trying to get it working, but hte problem is, that facebook is changing/updating the codes lately.
so i think, it might be good, to see they´re final connect app, and work with that.

This mod is in the To Do List... unfortunately still no time to adapt it.
I hope to have it integrated as a plugin sooner or later.

I've just seen this mod here:
http://wannabe.contropa.com/facebook-connect-for-phpbb2/217/
I'm assuming the other mods were for phpBB3, so maybe this will be a tad easier.
I'm gonna have a play with it myself. I'll reply if I have any luck
UPDATE:
I tried it on a vanilla install first... which was met with mixed success. I used my facebook account fine, and so did my friend, but the third person then logged in my facebook account.
There was some error when I tried deleting my facebook user through the ACP, so this may be where I caused problems in the database.
I'll try again, and not delete any users this time...

Thank you very much.
KasLimon is working on this in its free time, we are trying to improve how Icy Phoenix connects to other systems.
There is no estimated time for this task because we are pretty busy, but it is on our "To Do List" with high priority.
