So, I recently installed FAP. It installed fine, no errors or problems whatsoever in the installation.

When I try to upload a picture, it uploads fine but then there is no picture there, it is just a little box with the dreaded red X.

What did I do wrong? I followed the directions exactly..

a permissions or a GD support problem?

I dont believe so. I gave everything access and all the GD info looks fine, so I don't think its that.

And the images are uploading to the server fine, I see in my FTP that the image is uploaded with a encrypted name or something, so I know the uploading is fine..

You might try clearing the cache, then enabling Use old thumbnails functions ... that is, if you haven't tried already.

I just tried that, the images still won't show up.

I reinstalled and updated FAP as well.

Try removing the .htaccess files from album_mod/upload and it's subdolders.

Wasnt sure which post to reply to but a BIG thanks Artie, I got mine showing the pics FINALLY just got one more prob left and will get back if i dont find it. Thanks again... :mryellow:

That's great. I hope it works for D3luxe as well.

You may want to copy index.html from album_mod and place it in the folders ....will prevent users from browsing them

This damn HTACCESS is creating so many problems... :sad:

Wow, I forgot about this, I have been doing so much work to my forums. Deleting the htaccess file did fix the problem, but I upgraded my phpbb to an Integramod version, which is a super-modded phpbb version. It came with this album built in and working fine, so everything is good now.
