I would like to learn how to add and delete links from the Nav Link [Site Map]. Can somebody tell me what to do?

well you can go t cms control panel and look right upper corner.

The way I did it for my site was in the actual tpl file.
open the file templatesmg_themesnav_quick_links.tpl

and you will find all the link in that file you can delete or add.

I dont know if there is another way but thats how I do it.

You can also use DYNAMIC MENU block in CMS... in which case you can edit links directly from CMS section.

I tried that and it didn't work, I have it enabled and everything on it and it shows it's there in the CMS but then I look at the menu and they are not there. =/

One more quick question, I want to add another expand section with more links, how do I do that?

Make sure you have your dynamic menu enabled.  You also need to know the id # of the dynamic menu you want to use.  I made my dynamic menu id: 1.

If you want to make another drop down portion in the menu, go to your dynamic menu screen, which looks something like this:



Click on "Create a new category".  From there you should be able to set it up.

I am experiencing the same issues. I can change them in CMS but they never show on the home page or any other page.

I think all of you are confused. The default meno shown in the portal is the "Nav Link Menu" block, but the "dynamic menu" block is different. If you edit the dyn menu with the CMS, you will not see changes at the nav links menu because they are differents blocks. You have to edit blocks at the CMS: hide the nav links block and enable the dyn menu block.

Make it at global blocks and you will see the dyn menu at all pages. Be sure you set the correct dyn menu id at the dyn menu block (usually 1)

Use the dyn menu feature, its a great thing on IcyPhoenix. Easy and quick. You can create links menus like this:

  You're right we are confused. We assumed having the option to edit the Dynamic Menu meant that it was enabled by default (that's what we get for assuming). But after staying up all night and racking my brains I did find the Sitemap was the default for the Nav Menu. Once it is changed to the dynamic block it can be edited. Just a note… with that you have to add the style option back in and you cannot change the title of the ACP link (it attaches a SID value). Thank you for the reply, I only wish it was like 10 hours earlier.    Just a quick note about the images posted by Chaotic; those images look like they are a part of the Adv CMS that is downloadable as an upgrade?? Also I would like to state for the record, the CMS and the whole ICY Phoenix package IS really an awesome site upgrade.

when yes, where I can find it?

The TPL is templates/mg_themes/blocks/dyn_menu_block.tpl but if you want to edit links you need to do it through the CMS.
