Post Force To Read (FTR)

Righto, I have a 2 IP sites I've setup now and I can't get FTR to work on either of them, Site A or Site B.

I am using:

Latest IP + b Patch + BlackPearl for IP
CMS ADV Mod
Event Reg Mod
IP Flag Mod (Installed on Site B Only)
ACP Site Annoucement Mod (Installed on Site B Only)
FIND Mod (Installed on Site B Only)
And I've put Anonymizer script in the overall_footer to proxy off-site links (Installed on Site B Only)
I've made very minor layout changes in view forum, topic and profile.
Activity Mod (Installed, but commment out again - Not what I thought it was) (Installed on Site B Only)

I have FTR configured, Status is not disabled, Rotated between All Members or New Members, changed the topic.. Created new users and activated them. Disabled/Enabled.. It seems to be a dead duck, which is a shame because this is exactly the feature I was looking for. Any ideas?

Quick edit is always displayed..
Does it matter if the topic is locked? Or if the forum is PRIVATE? etc?

Thank you for your help, any advice is most welcome. Regards

Some advice about this? Is not working for me either.

I selected the forum and topic and wrote a message, then I selected "no disabled" to have the mod enabled, and finally I selected to force for "all members". But when I login with an existing user I don't get any message pointing me to read the selected topic.

You have to go to the selected forum for it to work.  I usually bump a topic after I set the FTR in the ACP.

No, it doesn't appear even if I enter the selected forum.

Please crimsonsun, One topic per thread unless it can't be avoided as part of the general question.

OK, I got it.

The problem was that "disable_ftr" on config table was always "1" whether I select "yes" or "not" for "disable mod" on ACP Force To Read section. I changed it manually to "0" and now it works.

Anyway I had to edit too the "viewforum" and "viewtopic" scripts, because de URL for the FTR topic was being malformed, lacking the topic ID.

I don't know if the problem with "disable_ftr" or the problems with the topic ID have been fixed on 1.2.0.27b patch, because I don't applied it yet, since I didn't have the time to reapply all customizations I made on 1.2.0.27 and 27a.

I mean directly in the config table, in the MySQL database.

Did you try switching the option in this section?

ACP => Configuration => Icy Phoenix => Posting And Messages => Completely disable Force Topic Read

(By enabling this option Force Topic Read will be completely disabled)

Oops...   I searched for other options related to FTR, but I didn't see that one.

Anyway, there is still the problem (if not fixed in b patch) of the FTR post URL lack of "post ID".
