Post PhpBB3 Forum Posting Problem

Hello all,

I am a little new at the forum thing but I have installed phpBB3 on our server and am running the black perl style which I must say is very nice, I am trying to get familiar with all of the options and such and have made up a few test forums but for some reason I can not see any button or link in the forum to post a topic in the forum, Im not sure if I have the permissions wrong or what, if someone could help me out it would be much appreciated, thanks.

Yes your right as I noticed that in the forum permissions for registered users it was set to read only and when I changed them to full access I now have the new topic button to post, but is the full access option ok to use as I see there were other options as well?

well this depend how you like that your users have permisions ...
anyway i think you have advanced permisions where you can exactly decide what registred users can or cant do ... check it...

BTW i m not so much in phpbb3 so i didnt played with permisions

Which is the default language?

Are you sure to have the proper folder with all buttons in your selected language?
