Post Errors With Firefox

Well, this is strange and happens only with firefox (Mac platform, don't know if it is the same with other OSs)

I can't read topics on this specific forum (General support f=2) with firefox, i can read them normally on other forums, I can read them with another browser (safari)

The error is "contents coding error", I post the text in my language, that MG knows...
Code: [Download] [Hide] [Select]
Errore di codifica del contenuto

La pagina che si sta cercando di visualizzare non può essere mostrata poiché fa uso di una forma di compressione non valida o non supportata.

Don't know why... but I'm getting the same error right now... all was fine until 10 minutes ago...

I'm trying to understand why.

Wait, it has disappeared suddenly. I had other errors today on the first opening of the page (here). From my past experience it should be something wrong with the SQL cache, in any case scrap this topic.

P.S. try to disable the cache (for example renaming temporarily the cache folder) and see if the errors are still there or not.

Maybe it is hosting related... let's see if it happens again.

I'm having the same error with Safari

Code: [Download] [Hide] [Select]

As I said, it happened to me before when I transferred the database from one on Mysql 4.0 to Mysql 4.1, for some reasons the pages cache and the sql cache went crazy, so I had to separate the sql cache from the pages cache and clear the sql cache every time someone was on the main page (with the same command that is in the admin page). At last I had to upgrade to this last version of Icyphoenix that can use 5.0 .

So I agree that they are probably messing on the server side (Aruba is well known for it   )
I'll come to read the topics that I'm interested on later...

I have just disabled GZIP compression and all seems fine now... let's see if this persists.

New version of Icy Phoenix (you can check it in SVN) has the SQL cache separated from templates cache.

Thanks for the feedbacks anyway.
