Post Help With Database Restore

Hello

I have installed the new release of IP in a new webpage. I have another webpage which is running on version 1.2.0.27c and I want to copy the posts, users, etc of that page to the new one. I don't want to update the old page since it has a lot of mods and stuff that won't be compatible. Can it work the way I want to do it or do I have to start from scratch with the new site?

Thanks

It depends what MODS have affected certain tables in your database.  I'm not totally sure if the same structure for users, posts, and forum tables is used in .27c and in RC2.  You may be able to compare them to see if there is any difference.

Well let's say I just want to copy the users. How do I compare the tables? Phpmyadmin?
