You guys gonna get so tired of me, but believe me i spend hours and hours
searching here and trying myself to figure things out on my own, ...

I placed my Links_block as page footer, and i was able to change the
scrolling to left in links_block.tpl , now I got the 3 little logos scrolling
left together vertically instead of next to each other horizontally,

and i would like to fix the height to fit nicelyaround the 88x31 images,
basically, just like so so many i have seen...

Why do you drive yourself crazy about this.

In CMS you can change position and apearence of that blog.

No need to change anything in the script

i searched the whole cms ... could not find anywhere that would fix this problem in cms...

i just want a long horizontal links block on my portal home page as footer ... like so many i see..

You go to

CMS / CMS-Pages / 3 columns / links

it asked´s where to put it

 

Then you adjust the rest

 

So easy

If you select bottom center

it will apear just in top of footer

actually, there is another way which built in IP. I can be activated by go to ACP >> Configuration >> SQL Opt >> check Yes on Links::Forum Index.  it will show right below Birthday or Statistics block.

thanx xmen, yes this is exactly how i want it, but in my portal home page and scrolling (but not important to scroll if its complicated)

it does not show this way ... i do not want it as a left or right block going vertical, i want a long horizontal block exactly like in forum page...

it is still not fixed in portal

Did you backup your folders before doing this strange changes???

then upload the original block file again.

i think that is the only way as the link block is only designed to go on the left or the right...

If you need a hand just post here as I am sure there will be someone around to help...
