Icy Phoenix 1.3.0.53 - Site Admin - Mass Email/PM Problem
As the Site Admin, I created a Group and added members through the ACP. However, I send out a mass email and a mass PM to a specific group but no one receives anything. Yes, I do go back and select, Proceed Now and it states that it is done.
What am I missing.
Thanks,
Dave

Re: Groups, Permissions, Moderator Vs Jr Admin
Only registered users should be able to send emails/ PM. And I want it accomplished via the board not through SMTP.
Presently there are 2 Administrators and 1 Group w/Jr Admin permissions. Each member of the Group is also a Moderator.
I went to ACP>Configuration>Server>Email and this is what I have it set as:

|
Filesize: |
9.73 KB |

117 Time(s) |

Re: Groups, Permissions, Moderator Vs Jr Admin
Please excuse this layman's ignorance with your terminology. I skimmed the word, "Port" mainly because I had no clue what that is in your world. In my computer repair world a, "Port" is hardware.
Thank you for taking time out to explain.
In my ignorance, I did not mean to offend. Sorry

No I did not. I wish I would have. I need a course in Time Management. LOL
Still waiting.
Maybe it is just I don't have it set up properly, I don't really know.

Re: Icy Phoenix 1.3.0.53 - Site Admin - Mass Email/PM Problem
The Mod does not exist, if i´m not wrong.
But it would be nice to have a mod that could
let us separate the mass mail function by User Groups.
Example:
Let´s say i want to mass-mail only Moderators, or admins, or just simple User´s
A Mod there i can select the Group where to send the mail´s to.
Should´nt be that difficult.
