I'm not sure if i should ask this here or not but are there any mods or plans for a mod that will enable reCAPTCHA on Icy instead of the existing built in captcha?

IcyPhoenix UK is off-line permanently due to lack of time to update mods.
if anyone is interested in my templates I will upgrade them to Icy 2.0.

In my To Do List there is also a recoding for the CAPTCHA system. Maybe I will port phpBB 3 one which is much more efficient and could be configured using plugins.

I am not loving CAPTCHA ... I prefer use a input to leave blank (moved out of screen with position: absolute in CSS (extern))

Well, bots are easily configured to know which things they should change in a form and which not... Although CAPTCHA is an awful method to recognise bots (especially for humans), I think it is the most effective.

OCR software is evolving, so CAPTCHA systems have to change too, but I completely agree it is horrible...
