Icy Phoenix

Can you please help me how to customize the milky way style..

This is the default milky way style..



I want to change it like this..



with the online status below the rank banner..

and also

i want to add login box on the header like this..



in here..




i tried to edit the view_body.html but nothing happens.


And can you give me guides so i can make my own template please..

I've seen this post in two sections now (IP and phpbb section), can you please tell what you are using (and maybe delete the unwanted post of the two) ? ...icyphoenix or phpbb?

Icy Phoenix doesn't have a file called "view_body.html" It's a phpBB3 thing!

But! I do understand your confusion because phpBB people obviously think that Icy Phoenix is an extension of phpBB and that MG can't decide if Icy Phoenix is the main criteria here, or whether or not it has to drag phpBB along with it.

Why Icy Phoenix needs "Propping Up" with phpBB forums here, I have no idea.

I'm also of the opinion that there are lot of people who would support Icy Phoenix - If the emphasis wasn't on phpBB3.

@lopalong.. thanks for pointing out it can only be phpbb, i really don't know how icy works exactly, i ve just had a few quick looks at it but thats it, to be honest ..i m no phpbb expert either :mryellow:

i m sorry but i m gonna ignore the rest of your comments about phpbb and icy because i hope you can agree we've allready been there and done that, we don t agree ..let's leave it at that ;)

as far as i know something about icyphoenix ..it s phpbb2 based and sortof premodded

try purging the cache in ACP and maybe clear you browser after that your modifications should be visible :wink:

do you realize the login box is allready at the bottom when a user is not logged in?

and finally about guides on making a template ..i guess you should search for those at phpbb.com
